Descriere:
Cap 1-5 cm in diameter, convex at first, then almost flat, dry, silky fibrous or ingrown scaly, dark blood red; cortina blood red.
The plates adherent with a tooth, frequent, narrow, dark blood-red.
Spores 6-9 x 4-5 µm, ellipsoid-granular, finely warty or almost smooth, bright rusty brown.
Leg 3-6 x 0,3-0,7 cm, cylindrical or thickened downwards, often curved, silky-fibrous, one-color with a cap or slightly darker, at the base it can be in orange tones, with a bright yellow mycelium felt.
The flesh is dark blood-red, slightly lighter in the stem, with a rare smell, bitter taste.
Spread:
The blood-red cobweb grows in coniferous forests, in wet places on acidic soils.
Asemănarea:
The resemblance to the also inedible spider web mushroom is blood-reddish, which has only red plates, and its cap is ocher-brown, with an olive tint.
