The surface is smooth, leathery, wrinkled along the edges, decorated with radial strokes. In dry weather, the hat takes on a light brown color with a golden hue. In wet weather, the surface of the cap is hygrophanous, red-brown or ocher-brown. Often the hat is covered with small felt whitish spots.

dense thin, yellowish-brown color. The pulp does not have a pronounced odor and is characterized by a burning, peppery taste.

Similitudine:

Shod Collibia is quite similar to Meadow Mushroom, which is distinguished by whitish wide plates, a pleasant taste and an elastic leg.

Comestibilitate:

due to the burning peppery taste, this species is not eaten. The mushroom is not considered poisonous.
