Descriere:
Hat from 0,5 to 3 cm in diameter, whitish, oyster-shaped, dry, slightly fibrous
The plates are quite rare, unequal, radially converge at one point – the place of attachment of the fruiting body. Color – initially whitish, later gray or light brown.
Tobacco-brown spore powder, elongated spores, ellipsoidal, warty, 6,5×3 µm
The leg is absent or rudimentary, the cap is often attached to the substrate (wood) with the side, while the plates are located below
The pulp is soft, with an inexpressive taste and the same (or weak mushroom) smell.
Spread:
Crepidote variant lives on rotting, broken branches of hardwood trees, often found among the intricacies of deadwood made of thin branches. Fruits singly or in small groups in the form of tiled fruiting bodies from summer to autumn.
Evaluare:
Crepidote variant is not poisonous, but has no nutritional value due to its very small size.
