Descriere:
The young fruiting body of the double net-bearer is a spherical, ovoid or cylindrical formation 4-5 cm in diameter, first covered with a white, then yellowish-white, light brown shell, which later breaks into lobes that remain at the base of the stem. The leg is cylindrical, hollow, spongy, white, at the top ends with a ribbed-mesh conical hat with a collar-shaped disk. The cap at maturity is slimy, olive green. From the place of attachment of the cap with the stem, a mesh formation departs, hanging down to half or to the end of the stem.

The doubled net-bearer lives in deciduous forests on soil rich in humus, or on heavily decomposed remains of wood. Occurs exceptionally rarely, singly or in groups, in July-September.
