The perch, although unpretentious to the habitat, but, like all fish, really does not like the drop in the level of oxygen in the water due to excessive heating of the water, which is typical for the summer period, it also becomes less active with the onset of flowering water. As the water temperature drops, it begins to lighten up – this is the beginning of the long-awaited “perch season”.

It is the upper heated layer that becomes the location of the perch in the coastal zone. Depending on the time of day, the fish move to the reeds or find cover for hunting in coastal vegetation. As the water temperature drops, the predator begins to move to areas with pits, away from the shoreline, and only a few hours a day comes to the shore with the remains of vegetation to hunt feeding crucian carp and roach.
But as they say, “hunger is not an aunt …”, therefore, with the onset of November, instinct tells the fish about the need to prepare for winter. Fishing from the shore
Before you start fishing, you should study the area, preference should be given to areas with cliffs, the presence of flooded trees and snags in the water. For effective perch fishing from a boat, you must have an echo sounder that will indicate the accumulation of fish, the depth of its location, and the bottom topography. But even in its absence, it is possible to determine a promising place by the accumulation of birds. The bottom relief is studied by search castings of cargo on a braided cord, and only then a bait is attached to it. Large perch should be looked for near deep dumps and pits.
As a bait when fishing from a boat, silicone lures equipped with a jig head and a hook are used. With a large number of snags and obstacles in the form of a large shell at the bottom of the reservoir, it is worth mounting tackle with an offset hook, which, if installed correctly, will reduce the number of hooks. The selection of the shape and weight of the load for rigging mainly depends on factors such as:

- the number and nature of obstacles at the bottom of the reservoir;

With an increase in the speed of the current, the weight of the applied load increases proportionally. Also, depending on the depth at which the predator is located and bites occur, the weight of the load is chosen, the lower the weight, the slower the bait descends to the bottom.
