Psihologie

Very often a problem arises and is not solved due to the fact that it is formulated by the client in a non-constructive, problematic language: the language of feelings and the language of negativity. As long as the client stays within that language, there is no solution. If the psychologist stays with the client only within the framework of this language, he will not find a solution either. If the problem situation is reformulated into constructive language (language of behavior, language of action) and positive language, the solution is possible. Accordingly, the steps are:

  1. Internal translation: the psychologist retells what is happening to himself in a constructive language. Clarification of important missing details (not just who feels what, but who actually does or plans to do what).
  2. Development of a solution corresponding to the state and level of development of the client, formulating it in the language of specific actions.
  3. Finding a way how this decision can be conveyed to the client in order to be understood and accepted.

Constructive is the transition of the client from the search for reasons that justify his problems to the search for effective solutions. See →
