Tomato sauce with minced meat

The combination of minced meat with tomatoes is very popular. This sauce will go well with fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, pasta. Ripe fresh tomatoes, canned tomatoes, or pasta can be used to prepare the dish. Add spicy herbs and garlic to the gravy for an even better taste.

You will need: – 400 g of ground beef; – 2 ripe tomatoes; – fresh parsley and cilantro; – 1 onion; – 2 cloves of garlic; – salt; – ground black pepper; – vegetable oil for frying.

Peel the onion and cut it into thin half rings. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the onion in it until golden brown. Put the minced meat in a frying pan and, stirring, fry it until half cooked. Use a spatula to break up the lumps of meat so that the minced meat is evenly fried and uniform.

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, peel and remove the seeds. Finely chop the pulp and add to the minced meat. Stir the mixture well, salt it and put the garlic, finely chopped or pounded in a mortar, into the pan. Cook the gravy until the excess liquid has evaporated. If it doesn’t seem thick enough for you, add a tablespoon of flour to the pan and stir thoroughly.

Chop the cilantro and parsley greens and add them to the skillet. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper. Season the potatoes or pasta with hot gravy and serve immediately.

Sos cremos de brânză

This sauce can be made with rice and pasta. Cook it with cream or sour cream, you can also choose the type of cheese to your liking.

You will need: – 400 g of minced meat (50% beef and 50% pork); – 1 onion; – 150 g parmesan; – 100 g cream 15% fat; – 1 tablespoon flour; – a pinch of nutmeg; – 0,25 cups of shelled walnuts; – vegetable oil for frying; – salt.

Fry the minced meat together with chopped onions in heated vegetable oil. Stir it thoroughly until smooth. Grate Parmesan, fry the walnuts in a dry frying pan and chop coarsely.
