Count Orlov’s tincture according to the classic recipe

Count Orlov’s tincture is remembered for its cloudy color and characteristic garlic aroma, and the taste of garlic harmoniously combines with notes of laurel and allspice. It turns out a strong male drink for warming and increasing appetite. It only takes a day to prepare.

Informații istorice

The tincture recipe appeared in the XNUMXth century, when Count Alexei Orlov started having stomach problems. Empress Catherine II gathered a council of doctors for her general, but they could not help. The situation was saved by the count’s barber, Yerofei, who lived in China for a long time as part of the Russian mission, where he learned how to prepare healing potions. The barber’s tincture put the count on his feet in just a couple of days.

In 1770, as a thank you, Erofey received from Orlov the right to prepare and sell his tinctures throughout the Russian Empire. Another famous creation of the same barber is the Yerofeich tincture, named after him.

Alexei Orlov was the younger brother of Grigory Orlov, a favorite of Catherine II. Alexey was remembered for his military campaigns against the Ottoman Empire. His most significant achievement was the victory over the Turkish fleet at the Battle of Chesma on June 26, 1770.
