Pilats white-carrier (Leucoagaricus pilatianus) photo and description

cap first spherical, then convex, convex procumbent, with a small round tubercle, 3,5-9 cm in diameter, light brown-reddish, darker in the center, deep red-brown. Covered with soft felt-velvety radial fibers on a lighter background. The edges are thin, at first tucked up, sometimes with whitish remnants of the bedspread. The plates are free, thin, whitish-cream, brown-red along the edges and when pressed.

Picior central, expanding downwards and with a small tuber at the base, 4-12 cm in height, 0,4-1,8 cm in thickness, first made, then fistulous (with a hollow channel), white above the annulus, reddish-brown under the annulus, especially at the base, becomes darker with time.

Ring simple, more or less central, thin, white above, reddish brown below.

Pulpă whitish, pinkish-brown on a break, with a slight smell of cedar or with an unexpressed smell.

A rare mushroom that grows in small groups in gardens and parks, oak groves.

Edibility is unknown. Not recommended for collection.
